The Kollege Klub
Project Summary
The Kollege Klub is a popular place on campus to hang out for anyone, for college and pro athletes, as well as a common meeting place for greek life fraternities and sororities. While the popular bar does a great job of providing a uniquely excellent experience to its visitors, that experience was not being conveyed on their website, which featured a generic design with very little reflection of the style, story, and history of the Kollege Klub.

Visual Design Revamp
Since creating a website that reflected the environment and culture of the Kollege Klub was a top priority we knew image was crucial. We used a brick background for the design that matches the color and appearance of the Kollege Klub’s brick exterior. Then, we created a custom header and other elements with patterns matching what can be seen in the bar and incorporated their unique logo and mascot throughout the site.
Shop KK Gear
To boost sales of merchandise online, we made navigation to the KK Shop much more intuitive from any page, and added call to actions in prominent places throughout the site.
Photoshoot
Since creating a website that reflected the environment and culture of the Kollege Klub was a top priority we knew image was crucial. We brought in a professional photographer to take shots that capture the feel of the Kollege Klub so we could use them as the centerpiece of the redesign.
Had some fun too
As with every site we work on, we made sure Kollege Klub’s site redesign optimized performance and made the site run fast and clean. We added a responsive design to the site to made it display properly on any device, and added web traffic tracking features, so the site owner can better observe trends and opportunities on his site based on the flow of traffic.
Integrations
We did Google analytics integration that tracks, reports website traffic and other insights such as bounce rate, pages per visit and average visit duration to help merchants/marketers to get real-time insight why clicks aren’t turning into sales.
Gravity forms allows site owners to create forms to collect information. Gravity Forms can be used for contact forms, WordPress post creation, calculators, employment applications and more
With Yoast SEO, you get a solid toolset that helps you aim for that number one spot in the search results.
We integrated social media sharing to help businesses in automating social media sharing. It also enables to keep posting on your social media profile & drive traffic on autopilot.
Launch Google Maps and initiate an action, like search or directions, using a cross-platform URL scheme.
Promote products to the right audience on Facebook. With the API, users can add social context to their applications by utilizing profile, friend, Page, group, photo, and event data.
